Spanish Club
The Spanish Club helps those with even an introductory-level background in Spanish gain more confidence in speaking Medical Spanish. The group meets every other month for dinner at a Latin-themed restaurant in either Chicago or the surrounding suburbs. This out-of-hospital/evening format allows for a more casual environment for residents and attendings to interact. As the evening goes on, in fact, Spanish Club meetings are known to get quite lively. “Viva la pachanga!” is our informal motto.
